2. Mood Swings and Fatigue
After a woman has given birth, the progesterone levels dramatically drop. This can take a toll on your mental health. Moodiness, depression, and anxiety are very common during this phase and it’s super important you take extra care of yourself.
If your mood doesn’t improve after a few weeks, it’s best to seek professional help because these could be the symptoms of post-partum depression.
3. Say Bye-Bye To Tidy Rooms
Having children means being mentally prepared for untidy rooms at all times. If you’re a clean freak, it’s likely that no matter how much you clean, there will be a LEGO piece or a squeaky toy lying around in a corner somewhere.
4. Body Changes
It’s important to know that your body completely changes after giving birth. You might experience a change of sizes, fluctuating weight, and a lot of stretch marks.
It’s okay to have these changes since they are completely normal. Show a lot of love and appreciation for your body for what it’s gone through. Throw away any old clothes that might make you feel bad, instead update your wardrobe and start doing yoga in the morning with your little one by your side.
